Join our webinar to learn how QS Stars is being used by a range of UK universities to support student recruitment from specific markets and serve as validation to potential TNE partners overseas.

QS Stars is currently adopted by 27 UK universities, leaving a large addressable market. Recently, higher-ranked institutions such as Bristol and Loughborough have adopted QS Stars. We aim to showcase this momentum and give QS Stars a promotional boost ahead of the budget year-end for most universities (31 July).

Our Panel Member - Andrew Plant

Andy worked at 3 UK universities in international student recruitment and partnership roles for 16 years before joining QS in 2021. He leads the UK & Ireland client facing team with particular expertise on optimising the student journey on behalf of QS's partners and believes that every student deserves personalised and premium support during their daunting admissions journey. He often presents at international conferences about “Admissues” (admissions issues) and other topical subjects facing international higher education.

Our Panel Member - Chris Taylor

With over 24 years of experience in HE, Chris has spent the majority of his career in International Student Recruitment and Marketing, responsible for global branding, student recruitment, TNE Partnerships and recently a part of delivering the University of Birmingham overseas campus in Dubai.

Our Panel Member - Stephen Williams

As Director of NTU Global, Stephen is responsible for embedding internationalisation at Nottingham Trent University in line with the University’s Connecting Globally strategy theme. This includes oversight and development of strategic international partnerships, student and staff mobility, summer schools, internationalisation at home and the global student experience. 

Our Panel Member - Karl Abbey

Karl’s current role is Head of International Recruitment for the University of Huddersfield. Karl has almost 20 years of international experience in higher education at a number of organisations and institutions across the UK and Ireland and Singapore. With significant focus on international recruitment strategy and process development, and associated partnership development, his role has oversight and responsibility for all international recruitment marketing and associated activities.
