QS World University Rankings: a South Korea focus - (on demand)

The QS Rankings team would like to run a special session for our valued South Korean partners. In this session we will dive into the evolution of the QS World University rankings methodology and illustrate where South Korean institutions continue to demonstrate strengths and deliver excellence. We will also reflect on areas for improvement for South Korean institutions so that they can best reset their performance benchmarks.

Dr. Andrew (Drew) MacFarlane completed his MA at the Adam Smith Business School (University of Glasgow), before going on to do a masters in linguistics and PhD in psychology. He lectured at the University of York, before going on to work in international admissions consulting in Shanghai. He is the Senior Research Manager at QS, responsible for overseeing the development, governance, and integrity of our rankings. |

Ben is one of the founding thinkers behind the QS World University Rankings and a veteran in the field of comparative institutional performance in global higher education. As Senior Vice President, Ben heads the institutional performance unit at QS, dedicated to bringing together policy makers and HE leaders through the power of data and insight, to maximise their positive impact on the world and fulfil their potential. A sought-after speaker on the conference circuit, Ben has spoken on his research in more than 25 countries. He has personally visited over 50 of the world’s top 100 universities, amongst countless others. |
