QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 – Find Out More

This pre-launch webinar will introduce the audience to the mission of QS and to the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability methodology. It will provide a detailed account of each indicator and its rationale for inclusion and scope. Eligibility requirements for inclusion in the ranking will be discussed as well as reflections on what constitutes excellence in the higher education arena at national and institutional levels. 
Our Panel Member - Florence Webb

Florence is the Rankings Manager at QS. Prior to joining QS, Florence worked in strategic leadership roles within the higher education sector in the UK and Switzerland for over ten years. Florence’s expertise lies in Strategy and Planning, Accreditation and Quality, and Stakeholder Management. Florence holds a MA (Distinction) in Applied Linguistics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA Modern Languages from the Durham University.

Our Panel Member - Wesley Siqueira

Wesley is a specialist in strategies and policies for promoting countries as study destinations, especially across the EHEA. He has extensive experience with international student recruitment activities and events, both online and offline. At QS, his main scope is revealing the impact of the latest global higher education trends on our World University Rankings. Wesley holds a BA in International Relations from the Damas Faculty of Christian Instruction, Brazil and an MA in International Public Affairs from the University of Bucharest, Romania.

Our Panel Member - Samuel Ang

Samuel is the Regional Director for Asia with QS Quacquarelli Symonds. He brings forth an extensive experience in student recruitment, internationalisation, and effectively helped universities boost their global branding activities. Sam excels in operational and consultative activities across key Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore. His extensive background, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, has been instrumental in forging and sustaining strong, impactful relationships with educational institutions across the region.

Our Panel Member - Ludovic Highman

Ludovic is currently Strategic Rankings Consultant and Secretary to the QS Global Rankings Advisory Board. He is also an Associate Professor in Higher Education Management at the University of Bath. Previously, he was a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Global Higher Education, based at the University College London’s Institute of Education, and a Research Centre Associate at the University of Oxford. His teaching and research interests lie at the intersection between contemporary European studies and higher education studies. Ludovic’s research is focused primarily on global and international higher education, higher education policy and higher education in Europe. He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the University of Cambridge. Ludovic sits on a number of boards including the Hinrich’s Foundation Trade Rankings Consultative Committee and is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Innovations in Education and Teaching International
